A savvy salon-spa owner saw opportunity expanding into a larger 100 year old downtown building. Lankford Design Group was to respect the historic façade, yet transform the interior structure and maximize the square footage with efficiency. Supporting the salon-spa’s reputation and mission, Lankford turned the typical salon layout on its head: by managing classic opposites in a salon environment: privacy in a public place, excitement with calm, and security in exploring the new—all enriching in a very busy environment.
